OUR PHILOSOPHY

Strategic acquisitions are a key component of creating shareholder wealth.  Whether a public or a private company, wealth creation is predicated on revenue and earnings growth.  There are very few industries where companies can achieve significant shareholder wealth through internal growth alone.  Acquisitions become a key component of a diversified growth strategy.

Stephens & Partners believes great acquirers employ a proactive and disciplined process to their merger and acquisition activities. When the right opportunity becomes available, the successful acquirer will distinguish itself from other buyers and will be prepared to move quickly, pay a "strategic price" and create "real shareholder value".

At Stephens & Partners, we are dedicated to those companies looking to grow through strategic acquisitions. Furthermore, we believe many of these successful acquisitions can be achieved on a negotiated, non-auction basis.  While many sellers will continue to employ financial intermediaries in the selling process, we believe a proactive buyer using a disciplined approach will capture significant additional value for its shareholders.

Stephens & Partners wants to work with management teams looking to build great companies.  We have designed the Stephens Five-Step Process to give our clients a higher probability of completing successful acquisitions.  From our upfront research to our strategic approach, to our careful monitoring of potential targets, to the closing of transactions, our efforts are geared to finding the right strategic acquisition at the right price.
